If you’re looking for B1 and B2 Cambridge speaking exams to celebrate Valentine’s day, then you’ve come to the right place.
The amount of students preparing and sitting Cambridge Official English exams is growing every day. Teachers need to come up with ways to add variety to what can be sometimes dull and repetitive English exam preparation classes. That’s why I’ve put together some Cambridge style speaking tests for both B1 and B2 levels for Valentine’s Day.
These Cambridge style speaking tests are designed for those students who are preparing for the B1 or B2 exam but also are interested in developing skills such as giving and asking for opinions, providing preferences or opinions and speculating.

Valentine’s Day B1 Preliminary Speaking Test
The B1 speaking exam consists of 4 parts and tests a variety of speaking skills. The topics are varied but one of them is based around relationships and people, so teaching your B1 students to talk about this can be useful. To learn more about the format of the speaking paper and the rest of the exam, visit here for more information.
My lesson material contains a complete speaking exam from Part 1 to 4, with 2 sets of photos for part 2 and a discussion task in part 3. All the parts are related to relationships and Valentine’s day.
In part 1 of this test, the candidate is asked questions about their free time and so your students must be clear on the correct use of the present simple. If you need some ideas on how to practice this in class, then check out my post here.
